Tibialis Raise (Bodyweight)
Also called Tibialis Raise, Wall Tibialis Raise, Bodyweight Reverse Calf Raise
How to do it
Stand with your back against a wall, place both feet parallel about one foot forward, and keep the heels planted. Lift both forefeet and toes toward the shins as high as possible, pause while squeezing the front of the lower legs, then lower them slowly to the floor without rocking away from the wall.
Setup
Lean the back and hips lightly against a wall with both feet parallel and about one foot forward. Keep the knees soft, heels planted, torso braced, and weight balanced through the heels.
Where you should feel it
Along the front of both shins as the toes lift, while the core and glutes maintain the wall-supported stance. Keep the heels down and avoid bouncing the forefeet.
When to use it
Use for equipment-free bilateral tibialis anterior strength, ankle-dorsiflexion endurance, warm-ups, and lower-leg resilience. Controlled sets of 15-30 reps work well.
