Tibialis Raise (Resistance Band)

Also called Reverse Calf Raise (Resistance Band), Reverse Calf Raises (Resistance Band), Band Tibialis Raise

How to do it

Sit on a stable bench facing a low anchor with the band looped securely around one forefoot and the heel supported. Pull the toes toward the shin without lifting the heel, squeeze the front of the lower leg, then lower the forefoot slowly without letting the band snap forward. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Anchor the band securely at floor height and loop it around one forefoot. Sit far enough away for tension with the heel supported, knee softly bent, toes toward the anchor, and torso tall.

Where you should feel it

Along the front of the working shin as the toes lift, with the core holding the seated position. Keep the heel planted and control the band as the forefoot lowers.

When to use it

Use for portable unilateral tibialis anterior activation and higher-repetition ankle-dorsiflexion work. Perform 15-30 smooth reps per side.
