Front Raise (Machine)

How to do it

Adjust the seat so the working-side handle starts low in front of your thigh and your shoulder aligns with the machine pivot. Raise one handle forward to about shoulder height with a soft elbow, then lower it under control. Complete the set and repeat on the other side.

Setup

Adjust the seat and start position so one shoulder aligns with the machine pivot and the handle rests low in front of that thigh. Keep your back supported, wrist straight, and nonworking side still.

Where you should feel it

At the front of the working shoulder through the machine path. The supported torso should limit momentum; neck tension means you are shrugging or the seat is poorly aligned.

When to use it

Use for stable unilateral front-delt volume when balance and trunk control should not limit the set. It is useful near fatigue in controlled sets of 10-20 reps per side.
